Boil a kettle and leave it to rest for a minute with the lid open.

Assemble the Aeropress, placing the seal just below the four. Then place the paper filter into your filter cap and rinse to remove the papery taste. Place your AeroPress onto your scales and set them to zero.

Readying your timer, fill the tube with your off-the-boil water - so it reaches the bottom of the number 1

Stir five times with your paddle, and start your timer for one minute.

Once the minute has passed, place your mug upside down on top and carefully flip the whole stack

Slowly press the plunger for 30-40 seconds until you hear a hiss.
